The Opportunity
Are you a commercially driven leader who thrives in the "engine room" of a busy sales office? We are seeking a proactive Sales Office Manager on behalf of our client to lead internal sales operations in Bicester.
Reporting directly to the Director, you will be the bridge between the sales floor and the boardroom, ensuring our team runs with precision, speed,and exceptional service. This is a pivotal role requiring a leader who can balance technical understanding with people management to ensure the office runs like clockwork.
How You Will Make an Impact:
* Drive Team Excellence: Build and lead a high-performing internal sales team, distributing workflow to ensure every customer requirement is met with "gold-standard" service.
* Master the "Office Rhythm": From managing holiday cover to optimizing daily productivity, you will ensure the office runs like clockwork.
* Mentor & Develop: Conduct appraisals and identify training gaps to improve team output and technical awareness.
* Be the Technical Lead: Step in to resolve complex enquiries, maintaining our reputation as experts in the MRO/Engineering space.
* Influence Strategy: Provide critical performance reports and insights directly to the Director to help shape the future of our sales function.
* Sector Savvy: You have a solid background or understanding in Engineering or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) and are comfortable discussing technical products and applications.
* An Experienced Leader: You have proven experience in a supervisory or management role within an internal sales environment.
* Commercially Minded: You are results-oriented, focusing on driving the "bottom line" through efficient office management.
