We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to work part-time at Stratum Dermatology Clinics Oxford. The successful candidate will undertake clinical activities as directed and under the supervision of the Lead Nurse.
Duties and responsibilities include
* Supporting our consultant dermatologists with consultations and surgical assistance in theatre (minor surgeries)
* Venesection
* Wound checks, dressing change, and suture removal post-surgery
* Maintaining infection control standards in line with CQC
* Daily clinic checks
* Maintaining stock
* Promoting high standards of clinical care to our patients across the board
* Ensuring clinical audits, policies, procedures, and medical governance standards
Skills and Qualifications
* Care Certificate or higher
* A real passion for patient care and delivering
* A good understanding of CQC policies relating to a clinical environment
* Good communicator and team player
