About the Role
In this role you will be part of three dynamic Duty and Assessment teams delivering high‑quality services to children and their families in Telford and Wrekin through case management of Child in Need, Child Protection, and initial PLO planning.
You will work collaboratively with families, partners, and colleagues across multidisciplinary teams to safeguard, assess, plan, implement, and review child protection cases.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver case management of Child in Need, Child Protection, and PLO planning.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary team work, ensuring safeguarding, assessment, planning, implementation, and review are carried out effectively.
* Engage with families, partners, and community‑based resources to support child protection and safeguarding.
* Work within the new Family Safeguarding model developed by Hertfordshire County Council, focusing on keeping children safely within families where possible.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should be registered with Social Work England and possess the qualifications and experience required for the role, as outlined in the full person specification.
