Supply Hive is supporting a friendly and well-established primary school in Maidenhead to find an experienced Year 6 cover Teacher, working 3 days per week starting in January 2026 until the end of the academic year in July 2026. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 6. Assess and track pupil progress, providing effective feedback to support learning. Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils. Contribute to wider school life, including assemblies, enrichment activities, and team meetings. Uphold the school’s values and commitment to safeguarding and inclusion. Requirements: ✅ Be a qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 2. ✅ Have excellent communication and organisational skills. ✅ Available for the duration of the placement. ✅ DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
