We are working with an industrial manufacturer based in Huntingdon who are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position and offers hybrid working. The successful candidate will be based in the UK but will be expected to travel internationally up to 3 months per year (usually 2-week trips).
Key responsibilities will include:
* Driving business growth against agreed targets
* Offering a consultative sales approach to ensure that the best solution is provided
* Working closely with a range of key stakeholders internationally
* Delivering product demonstrations at customer sites internationally
* Managing and developing key accounts
* Providing install support, on-site training, and ongoing technical guidance
* Generating leads and developing new business whilst increasing brand awareness
The successful candidate will have:
* An engineering background with hands on technical experience
* B2B sales experience working with components, services, or machinery
* Experience selling into a range of industries
* Strong problem-solving skills
* A role currently where international travel is involved or looking to develop their career in this direction
* Experience working with international teams
