Key Accountabilities The underlying learns and responsibilities of the portfolio manager will consist of: You will be involved in the structuring and origination of deals from enquiries through to agreeing Heads of Terms. You will be responsible for managing a pipeline of cases to maximise loan completions along with managing the full lifecycle of the development from initial drawdown through to completed developments. Producing credit reports for credit committee approval. Producing monthly portfolio reviews for credit committee. This list is not exhaustive and the duties are liable to change from time to time in line with the needs of the department. Skills & Competencies Good communication skills essential for dealing with brokers, borrowers, and lenders. Pass internal competency tests post induction. Knowledge & Qualifications Construction knowledge is important and advantageous. The applicant should be joining the team from a specialist lender or challenger bank where they will have been working in the development finance team. Existing relationships with property professionals are advantageous. Experienced individual in a development finance team from a lender side. Ability to structure complex development finance facilities for brokers and direct customers. Ability to analyse valuation and monitoring surveyor reports. Personal Attributes Team player. Proactive.
