Job Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Procurement & Supply Chain, the Manager, Procurement Operations is responsible for the daily execution of the delivery performance of the Garden Grove supply base supporting a 100% uptime in our operations. First line escalation for operational buyers will be managed by the Manager, Procurement Operations.
Job Responsibilities
1. Manage a team of operational Buyers, coaching, mentoring and developing growth potential, managing daily performance
2. Ensure all parts, materials, tools, & services are procured & delivered on time to site/program and business schedules in line with MRP demand and internal customer requirements
3. Develop and measure key performance indicators (KPI) to ensure buyer compliance to purchase requisition and MRP performance
4. Develop, monitor and improve the on-time delivery metrics within the supply base.
5. Identify and implement key tools and processes necessary for the site and supply base performance
6. Guarantee purchase orders are in line with procurement contracts, site inventory and cost targets
7. Establish, implement and verify the disciplined execution of Daily Management and Standardized work of operational buyers
8. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure a high quality, reliable source of supplies, services and information
9. Ensure compliance from procurement to customer and government requirements

Job Qualifications
11. Bachelors degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Engineering; will consider 7 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry in lieu of a degree
12. 5+ years relevant business experience, which includes 3+ years experience in Procurement, SCM or Production Management in Aerospace
13. 1+ years of experience with people management
14. Able to accommodate 25% of domestic travel
15. U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
16. APICS/CPM Certification
17. Understanding of FAR/DFARS compliance and flowdowns
18. Strong understanding of the Aerospace industry and AS9100 Quality Management System
19. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
20. LEAN or Six Sigma experience
21. A demonstrated ability to build relations with a supplier network and having insight in suppliers processes
22. A track record of Leadership to work with cross functional teams
Compensation Data
Salary Range: $108,569.00 - $162,853.00
