Engineering Resource Planning Manager
Take responsibility for populating Edgewing Engineering roles identified by HQ and NatCo Engineering team leaders, working closely with the Chief People Office.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Engineering Learning & Development (L&D) management system to support organisational capability growth.
Ensure consistent application and upkeep of people policies within the Engineering function.
Establish, maintain, and optimise the engineering resource business information system to meet evolving business requirements.
Lead regular engineering resource reviews with managers to identify, assess, and address capability gaps and development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Proven experience managing teams and multiple teams to deliver engineering resource capability solutions.
2. Strong people management, leadership, communication, and IT skills.
3. Previous experience working within a resource capability environment or a closely related field.
4. Skilled in maintaining business information systems, with the ability to review and identify resource gaps.
5. Degree-qualified in a STEM subject, Chartered status, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
About the Role:
You will be joining a highly motivated, experienced team within the BAE Systems Air sector, supporting the delivery of the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP). You will work across diverse stakeholder groups including tri-national industry and government colleagues to ensure the success of the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) for the UK.
