Work for a Leading Catering Company
We are looking for a Japanese / Sushi Chef for a site based in the City, this will be leading the section and making Sushi, bento boxes, Holding sushi masterclasses, soba noodle bowls all fresh on a daily basis.
This role gives a great work / life balance as it is working on Monday to Friday with no weekends needed and core hours being 7am to 4pm, occasional evening and events and sushi making masterclasses will be required and this will be paid as overtime
The Sushi / Japanese Chef will need knowledge of authentic Sushi Styles as well as a Western style due to the customer variance on site, You will need to demonstrate a strong knowledge of all types of Japanese food and have created to a high standard,
You will generally work alone on the section so experience in busy kitchens is a must, on events and busier times you will be supported by other chefs to provide support.
The Sushi Chef will be able to lead the operation and showcase their skills and what can be produced using the freshest and most authentic of ingredients
