Overview

Are you a new Chef looking for a rewarding opportunity? Join us at one of our prestigious independent schools as a Chef and help create meals that inspire our students. Nestled in Cobham, Surrey, this school caters for day pupils as well as staff and includes breakfast, lunch, and a supper club. This is a fantastic opportunity for a new Chef to make a name for themselves within our contract catering company and be part of setting the new standard for education catering.


Key Responsibilities

* Prepare, cook, and present meals to a high standard.
* Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are maintained.
* Assist with menu planning and contribute creative ideas.
* Manage stock levels and support ordering as required.
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver excellent service.


Qualifications

* Previous experience preferred.
* Culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institute.
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fun and enthusiastic.
* Have excellent organisational skills.
* Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team.
* Have a flexible approach to work.
