Are you a NEBOSH-qualified individual with knowledge and experience in the construction sector, looking for a move with strong development opportunities? I’ve partnered with a regional construction and civils business, during a burgeoning period of growth, looking for a H&S Assistant to join their ranks.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
•Preparing RAMS
•Supporting site inspections and audits
•Promoting a positive safety culture, and helping ensure compliance with SHEQ and ISO standards.
•Carrying out training and toolbox talks to educate site personnel and ensure they understand the standards expected.
You will be a key operational asset; this role is significant and knowledge of safety, health & environmental legislation and current construction practices is key. Key qualifications and experience include:
•NEBOSH General (Minimum) and NEBOSH Construction (preferable) certified
•You must have a current UK driving licence and use of a personal car for work related usage
•Self-motivated and positive attitude with good communication skills and able to deal with site installation teams, colleagues, senior management, and customers
•Ability and willingness to work flexibly to suit the needs and demands of the role
•A sound appreciation of Health & Safety practices on site (e.g., risk assessments, accident investigations, induction, and training etc).
