Year 2 Class Teacher – September 2025Are you ready to lead a Year 2 class and develop your teaching skills in a ‘Good’, 2-form-entry school?***Year 2 Class Teacher***Long-term supply, September 2025 start.***MPS 1 – MPS6 (£162.31 - £251.71 per day)***Plan, deliver and mark a Year 2 class for the academic year***”Good”, 2-form entry primary school, Castle Bromwich The RoleYou will lead a Year 2 class full-time, planning engaging lessons across the primary curriculum. You will prepare pupils for KS1 SATs using assessments to track progress and identify areas for support. You’ll become a part of a welcoming team and contribute to the school’s vision of inspiring and nurturing the next generation. The candidateYou will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong KS1 teaching experience, especially with Year 2 pupils. You are confident in phonics instruction, assessment strategies and early intervention – particularly for SATs. You’re skilled in differentiating lessons to meet a wide range of needs, including SEND and EAL pupils. You have excellent communication skills to engage with children, colleagues and parents.
