About the Role
EF (Education First) Torquay Summer School is seeking dedicated and outgoing teachers to join our team for summer 2026.
Position Details
* Full-time
* 6 days a week
* Dates available between June – August 2026 (minimum two-week commitment)
Key Responsibilities
* Inspire international students to improve their English in fun, communicative lessons
* Plan, prepare and deliver effective lessons to diverse groups of learners
* Track student attendance, assess progress and provide regular feedback
* Facilitate testing and maintain academic records
* Participate in teacher briefings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions
* Contribute to a positive and collaborative academic team environment
* Act as an ambassador for EF
Requirements
* Available between June – August 2026
* TEFL or CELTA (or equivalent) qualified
* Excellent communication skills
* Sensitive to the needs of international students
* Confident in teaching young learners (13-17)
* Demonstrates a high level of customer serviceHas strong administrative and organisational skills
* All offers subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
* Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment
* C2 level of English
