RME Manager III will lead the Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) function for a cluster comprising various building types including FC, SC, and GSF, serving AMZL and AMXL in the region. The role reports to the Regional RME head and is based in North India.
The Cluster Manager is responsible for all building operations, facilities planning, and managing third-party service providers for maintenance and facilities services. The ideal candidate will oversee facilities and programs with limited information or undefined business problems, delivering autonomous reliability and maintenance functions. They will lead local and global initiatives, collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders, influence roadmaps, and contribute to the facilities community in complex situations. Effective communication, meeting management, and process improvement are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive reliability and maintenance engineering programs for buildings, including MEP systems, 5S, and automation systems.
2. Implement continuous improvement initiatives like CBM and OEE.
3. Lead energy, water efficiency, and sustainability programs.
4. Manage people development, growth, and performance.
5. Develop and audit maintenance policies for electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and standards.
6. Partner with Risk Management for system inspections, testing, and compliance.
7. Perform engineering calculations and oversee installation and operation compliance.
8. Support operations and testing related to electrical and automation systems.
9. Audit maintenance practices globally, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
10. Support training and startup of electrical maintenance programs at new locations.
11. Review audit findings, partner with safety and real estate teams, and ensure compliance.
12. Oversee equipment maintenance, develop preventive routines, and manage vendor relationships.
13. Analyze equipment performance, manage maintenance teams, and ensure safety standards are met.
14. Support engineering during new installations and improvement projects.

Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent.
* 9+ years of facilities management or related experience, or Bachelor's degree.
* Alternatively, 2+ years of Amazon experience with relevant skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in design review for electrical, mechanical, and automation solutions.
* Knowledge of conveyor systems, controls, electrical schematics, CMMS, preventive maintenance, and industrial electronics.
