Job Description
This role is available on a part-time or full-time basis, including fixed-term contracts. All work requires on-site presence at our Shirebrook HQ.
As a Commercial Lawyer at Frasers Group, you will review, negotiate, draft, and advise on a wide range of contracts related to suppliers and business partnerships across various areas including commercial, supply chain, concessions, events, marketing, e-commerce, franchising, licensing, IT & technology, outsourcing, and finance.
* Handle commercial disputes and litigation.
* Provide guidance on marketing and promotional activities, including CAP code compliance and drafting T&Cs for promotions and competitions.
* Support the e-commerce team on legal aspects of digital marketing and website operations.
* Manage wholesale contracts and concession agreements.
* Handle general IP work, including licensing of brands.
* Advise customer service on complaints and disputes.
* Assist with larger M&A transactions, including due diligence and drafting SPA/APAs.
* Liaise with enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies like ICO, ASA, and Trading Standards.
* Manage external lawyers for specialized work.
* Support senior legal team members and supervise junior staff.
