Role Overview:
We are seeking an energetic, dynamic and results-driven Sales and Business Development Manager to join our sales team. This role blends lead generation, client acquisition and revenue growth across diverse sectors within Outsourced payroll, Payroll Bureau, CIS and Accountancy, whilst providing sales support to our Umbrella service which provides payroll services for all sectors including healthcare, education, hospitality, and corporate services. This is a high-impact role offering autonomy, uncapped earning potential, and the opportunity to shape business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and engage new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and inbound leads.
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across various industries.
* Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
* Account Management: Manage existing accounts, upsell services, and ensure client satisfaction.
* Market Expansion: Explore new sectors and geographic areas to grow the client base.
* Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline using CRM tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience in B2B sales or business development (2+ years preferred).
* Strong negotiation and closing skills.
* Comfortable working independently and managing own schedule.
* Experience in field sales or managing a sales territory (desirable).
* Experience in hosting webinars and events at exhibitions (advantageous).
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
* Industry experience in Payroll services, Financial sales, or professional services is a plus.
