With a proven track record in helping students go on to further education or full-time employment, the colleges of Leicester need your support to develop Motor Vehicle, Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil engineering departments to new levels.
If you have an ambitious vision for delivering high-standard apprenticeship programs, engineering courses and/or assessing the engineers of the future, we need your help.
Responsibilities
* Teach and support engineering students and apprentices across the Leicestershire area (often level 1-3).
* Impart your experience, skills and knowledge to a caseload of engineering apprentices and students.
Qualifications
* Relevant Engineering Qualifications (Degree, Level 3 or other recognised qualifications).
* DBS (and on update service).
* Great industry experience and knowledge (crucial).
* CAVA Level 3 Assessor Qualification.
* Knowledge of the Apprenticeship Standards and E-portfolio system (Smart Assessor) is beneficial.
* Ideally hold or be prepared to work towards an Assessor and Verification award, e.g., TAQA, A1 or V1.
* A minimum of Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English or equivalent.

Payroll and compliance
Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, ensuring the correct level of tax and National Insurance, with no admin charges deducted from your pay.
