The post holder manages day-to-day operations at stations and vehicles and is the first-line manager for staff across Derbyshire stations. They serve as the single point of contact for escalations, supporting healthcare professionals, stakeholders, and patients.
The role requires travel across Derbyshire and neighboring hospital sites.

Responsibilities include collaborating with hospital capacity teams to identify patients, attending bed and capacity meetings, supporting operational staff, conducting risk assessments, and developing service improvements with stakeholders.
The post holder will be the primary contact for healthcare professionals regarding escalations, participate in patient and stakeholder forums, and work with communication teams to ensure effective outreach.
They will contribute to strategic service development, ensure KPI delivery according to SLAs, and support objectives for staff and projects.
The role involves risk analysis, reviewing complaints and incidents, managing information on quality issues, and participating in projects and change programs.
Training needs will be identified and addressed, maintaining high standards of conduct and patient care. The post holder will monitor KPIs, implement risk management practices, and foster effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
Regular communication with team members and continuous evaluation of communication effectiveness are essential.
