Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Rotational Dietitian based at University Hospital Ayr.
What you will do:
UHA is a District General Hospital in South Ayrshire which delivers services across a range of specialties including general medicine (inc. cardiology, rheumatology, respiratory), urology, orthopaedics, gastroenterology, general surgery & critical care. There is an expectation that you will also deliver health improvement interventions, as appropriate. We work as a fully integrated team across acute and community. Our community colleagues support citizens and their families/carers on discharge as required. Service is delivered to people in their own homes, Care Homes, GP clinics and in our Community Hospitals in Prestwick & Girvan. You will work as part of this team in one of the Band 5 rotations. Your learning and development will be further supported by the senior members of the team and through attendance at peer supervision and service professional development days. As a team member, an additional part of your role will be to supervise/mentor/educate unregistered colleagues and students during Practice Placements and other members of the multi-professional team e.g. Paramedic learners.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
1. Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics/post graduate diploma
2. Registered Dietitian with HCPC
