Position: Freight Coordinator - Multi-Modal Operations
Location: Chandlers Ford
Salary: Up to £35,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 37.5 hours per week

As the company enters an exciting phase of growth through 2025 and beyond, they are now seeking a Freight Coordinator to join their close-knit operations team in Chandlers Ford.
The Role: Freight Coordinator - Multi-Modal Operations
In this role, you will manage end-to-end freight movements across multiple transport modes, acting as the central point of coordination between customers, carriers, and internal teams. You'll ensure shipments move efficiently, compliantly, and on time-delivering a high-quality service across European and UK networks.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate multi-modal freight operations including road, air, and sea for import and export consignments.
Manage European road freight movements and time-critical courier shipments.
Oversee shipments from booking through to final delivery, ensuring full operational visibility.
Provide outstanding customer service, maintaining clear and proactive communication throughout the shipment lifecycle.
Prepare and issue freight quotations, rates, and service options.
Produce and manage shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and Letters of Credit where required.
Complete customs documentation and ensure compliance with import/export procedures.What We're Looking For
Experience within the UK freight, transport, or logistics sector (road freight, courier, or multi-modal experience preferred).
A strong understanding of operational freight processes and documentation.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset.
Experience with hazardous or dangerous goods is advantageous but not essential-full training will be provided.
