Job Description Process Improvement Technician Miskin up to £35,000 depending on experience Are you passionate about delivering high-quality products and driving technical excellence? We’re looking for a motivated individual to provide technical support, development, and ownership of complex high-precision assembly processes as part of the AMG (Additive Manufacturing Group) process improvement engineering team. In this role, you’ll ensure products reach customers on time and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Support the process and build of AM machines and sub assemblies including: Manage equipment calibration and maintenance activities, and monitor key metrics like first-time pass rates, yields, and scrap costs. Process trend analysis, investigating root causes for customer returns, and implementing corrective actions. Create and execute plans to prioritise changes such as design change/ capacity uplift and rig/tooling improvements, validate new or upgraded assembly processes, and collaborate with Product Designers to optimise designs for assembly. Provide hands-on support for assembly cells, including troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and addressing quality defects. Ensure all processes are documented to good manufacturing practice standards, conduct quality issue investigations, and maintain cost and pass rate reporting for analysis. Managing calibration of equipment such as hand tools.
