Transport Administrator Location: Newry Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: DOE Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week on a rota basis About the Role We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Transport Administrator to join our busy team. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our transport operations, supporting drivers and managers, and keeping everything on track behind the scenes. Key Responsibilities: · Provide day-to-day administrative support to the transport team. · Assist with scheduling drivers, vehicles, and deliveries. · Maintain accurate records of transport activities, including driver hours, vehicle checks, and compliance documentation. · Support with route planning and allocation of resources. · Liaise with drivers, customers, and colleagues to resolve queries promptly. · Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and company requirements. · Prepare reports and maintain digital systems About You: · Previous experience in administration minimum of 1 year ideally in a transport, logistic environment · Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. · Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel in particular). · Strong communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels. · Able to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities. · Trustworthy, reliable, and able to work independently · A positive team player with a proactive approach.
