Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and highly motivated Assistant Psychologist to join our team here at the Dragonfly Unit. The post sits within the Therapies pathway led by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist comprising OT, OTIs, Art therapy and family therapy. You will become a member of the multidisciplinary team dedicated to the delivery of recovery focused interventions for young people with a range of mental health difficulties.
Responsibilities
You will join at an exciting time as the clinical model is implemented across the unit, bringing together a relational, developmental and mental health approach to care delivery and intervention. Main duties are to support the delivery of psychologically-informed assessments, formulations and interventions to service users alongside psychologists and other colleagues under the close supervision of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. This will include cognitive assessment, personality assessment and mental health difficulties.
Qualifications
A good understanding of psychological models and their practice application, as well as data analysis and report writing skills is desirable.
