We are looking for an Administration Assistant based in Orpington, reporting to the Construction Streetworks Manager.
The Streetworks Team provides a vital “Front Office” facility between the Highway Authorities and Southern Networks Depots, ensuring work is carried out in line with NRSWA legislation and Traffic Management Act Requirements.
We deliver safety, warmth, and comfort to homes and businesses. Every role, whether in the office or on the front line, plays a key part in this mission. Here’s how you will contribute…
1. Raising permits to enable SGN to carry out planned works on the highway.
2. Manage the life cycle of the permit through to completion.
3. Submitting reinstatement to our third-party contractors.
4. Registering reinstatement on completion of planned works.
5. Liaising with contractors.
6. Monitoring daily reports.
7. Maintaining trackers.
8. Mail merging and distributing customer correspondence
What you’ll need:
9. Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
10. Excellent team player.
11. Capable of working to defined deadlines.
12. Ability to respond to changing priorities at short notice.
13. Computer literate.
14. Competent in Microsoft software packages such as Word and Excel.
15. Have an understanding of Current NRSWA and TMA legislation.
