NEOS Engineering are partnered with a well-established plant hire business looking to appoint a Senior Hire Negotiator/Manager for their Hitchin depot. This is a great opportunity for an experienced hire desk professional ready to take the next step into a leadership-focused role within a growing operation.
The successful candidate will have strong experience within plant hire, tool hire, powered access, or equipment rental and be confident managing day-to-day depot activity, supporting customers, and driving performance across the hire desk.
The Role:
• Managing daily hire desk operations
• Supporting and developing the hire team
• Handling customer enquiries and key accounts
• Coordinating plant availability, transport, and logistics
• Driving utilisation and depot performance
• Building strong customer relationships
The Candidate:
• Experience within plant hire, tool hire, powered access, or related sectors
• Previous experience as a Hire Controller, xsngvjr Hire Negotiator, Depot Manager, or similar
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commercially aware with a customer-focused approach
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
