We’re looking for a Planner with advanced MS Project skills to take the lead in planning and scheduling across multi-disciplinary engineering projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors. You'll play a pivotal role in driving project timelines, resource planning, and risk management—ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and update detailed project programmes using Microsoft Project (advanced level essential) Coordinate with project teams, engineers, and clients to define deliverables and timelines Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies Lead planning workshops and provide regular project reports Support tender and bid processes with fully resourced programmes Mentor junior planners and collaborate across teams to ensure planning consistency Qualifications 5 years’ experience in planning/scheduling in engineering or manufacturing Advanced knowledge and proven experience using MS Project Experience with Primavera P6 desirable Able to read technical drawings and manage planning for multiple projects Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Degree in Engineering or Project Management preferred Required Skills A proactive, solution-focused approach to planning High-level scheduling, problem-solving, and presentation skills Confidence to lead planning conversations across senior and site teams Salary £40k - £45k
