The role will focus on all AR activities, including, but not limited to, customer invoicing and liaison, contract reviews, account reconciliations and credit control. In addition, this role requires the employee to support all aspects of the Finance function, including revenue recognition, requisitions and procurement, accounts payable, journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliation, SOX compliance and audit support.
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
* Manage end-to-end AR processes across multiple business units, currencies, and locations
* Handle customer setup, contract reviews, invoicing, credit control, and account reconciliations
* Provide AR analysis and flag issues (e.g. slow-paying customers, invoice risks)
* Liaise with internal teams and executives on customer-related matters
* Support invoicing process improvements and standardization
Broader Finance Support
* Assist with month-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash applications
* Support requisitions, procurement, and accounts payable
* Maintain audit-ready records and ensure SOX compliance
* Contribute to internal and external audit processes
* Learn and use finance systems (Oracle, Xero, Concur)
* Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Qualifications
Skills & Experience
* Entry-level or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Strong desire to complete professional qualifications
