Full-time hours. Weekends availability is required. Hours: 11PM to 7AM or 10PM to 6AM.
Responsibilities
* Patrol and monitor corridors and exits to ensure safety and security during the night; front doors should be locked when appropriate.
* Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
* Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture.
* Move linen to the linen stores on different floors.
* Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.
* Clean and sanitize surfaces, such as door handles and handrails.
* Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and event spaces.
* Respond promptly to guest requests for assistance.
* Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
* Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
* Monitor for unusual, illegal, or dangerous activities on the premises.
* Watch the CCTV screen at the reception desk and perform occasional tours around the building.
* Report entrances on an hourly basis and ensure back and front doors are locked.
* Surveil the car park entrance and ensure nobody enters the building illegally through the parking area.
* Conduct smoke tests as required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic phone etiquette skills for effective communication with guests and colleagues.
* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
