Assistant Management Accountant Harrogate | Hybrid Working | up to £32k DOE If you’re at the stage where you’ve moved beyond pure transactional finance and want to get properly involved in month-end and reporting, this is the kind of role that gives you that step. You’ll be joining a team responsible for producing full management accounts packs across a portfolio of sites. It’s detailed work, fairly fast-moving at month-end, and relies on people who are organised, comfortable with numbers, and able to keep things accurate without overcomplicating them. What you’ll actually be doing A lot of your time will revolve around month-end - helping pull together the numbers, making sure everything lines up, and producing reports that other teams rely on. That includes: Posting journals, accruals and prepayments Reconciling balance sheets and bank accounts Supporting revenue and cost allocations across multiple sites Pulling together management accounts and financial packs Acting as a point of contact for queries from property teams Getting stuck into anything that needs sorting during month-end It’s hands-on, and there’s a fair bit of ownership once you’re up to speed.
