TeacherActive are recruiting for a strong Arabic-speaking SEN / EAL Tutor to support a pupil on a one-to-one basis in Woolwich. This is an in-home tuition role, Monday to Friday, working with a student who requires bespoke support to access learning. The pupil is an EAL learner and it has been established that they have not previously accessed formal education. We are therefore looking for a patient and adaptable tutor who can speak Arabic and support the pupil in building confidence, communication, routine and foundational learning skills. This role would suit an experienced Tutor, Teacher, HLTA, LSA, SEN Tutor or support practitioner who is confident working independently in a home environment and able to deliver learning in a nurturing, creative and highly personalised way. Due to the nature and complexity of each referral, we are unable to go into specific details on every individual case at this stage. Local Authorities are looking for tutors to start immediately. This is a long-term position, Monday to Friday.
