Great opportunity to work as a RTITB MHE Trainer for our client’s well‑established logistics provider delivering warehousing and distribution services across the UK. Our Dagenham site supports a range of major clients, including well‑known drinks brands.
Location & Hours
Staffline is recruiting RTITB MHE Trainers in Dagenham.
This is a full‑time role working fixed shifts Monday to Friday. The hours of work are 8am to 4pm.
Pay
The rate of pay is £17.95 per hour.
Qualifications
Applicants will hold an Accredited MHE Trainer or Instructor certification (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT, or equivalent) and have a valid teaching/instructor license, which is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver effective training sessions, as well as carrying out assessments to ensure warehouse colleagues can operate equipment safely and efficiently.
* Plan and deliver accredited training and refresher sessions for warehouse colleagues on HLOP, VNA, forklift, and PPT equipment.
* Carry out practical and theoretical assessments to ensure all operators meet both internal requirements and external safety standards.
* Keep training records, licenses, and certification documentation accurate and up‑to‑date for all MHE operators.
* Encourage and maintain a strong safety culture by ensuring full adherence to company procedures and industry regulations.
* Work closely with the warehouse management team to identify skill gaps and implement suitable training programs.
* Conduct regular reviews and observations of operators to maintain high levels of competence and compliance.
* Provide on‑the‑job coaching and support to both new starters and existing staff to improve performance and efficiency.
* Support induction processes by delivering MHE‑related training and safety briefings for new employees.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience operating and training others on HLOP, VNA, forklifts, and PPTs.
* Good understanding of warehouse work, health and safety, and MHE rules.
* Clear communication and good people skills.
* Able to support and motivate staff at all levels.
* Organised and able to keep accurate records.
