We are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join one of our well-established furniture manufacturing clients in the Washington area. Shifts: Monday to Friday (day shift - 7.5 hours a day) Salary: £42,000 Key Responsibilities: · Diagnose and repair breakdowns on CNC routers, edgebanders, saws, drills, wood burners, woodchippers, and dust extraction systems. · Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime. · Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery. · Ensure compliance with health & safety standards. · Keep accurate maintenance and service records. Skills & Experience Required: · Time-served engineer or relevant qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering. · 18th Edition · Proven experience maintaining woodworking machinery. · Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems. · PLC fault finding experience (advantageous but not essential). · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. · Flexible to provide cover out of hours when needed. · A proactive approach to work. · Full UK driving license. · Woodworking machinery experience is desired If you are interested in this role and would like to know more, please contact Holly on (phone number removed).
