Climate17 are working with a leading international services provider to the renewable energy sector who manage a portfolio of BESS, onshore wind and solar PV assets for its investment funds clients across Europe.
Working in the technical asset management team you will ensure proper operation of storage plants under their management. You will assist in the operational control of all aspects of each project, analyse data, rectify issues and drive performance and quality improvements
This role has aspects that are broader than just a technical function including supporting the team with implementation of quality systems and processes which deliver performance improvements and support the growth of the business in the UK.
Responsibilities
* Manage assets on day-to-day basis
* Be the Client’s point of contact & address Client’s request pertaining to the asset managed
* Perform Operational Controller duties, including, on call duties during the weekends.
* Prepare client reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual)
* Carry out performance analysis
* Be responsible for Site Logbook monitoring
* Collection, interpretation and presentation of data extracted from SCADA.
* Complete Initial fault investigation
* Create & Review Health and Safety plans
* Ensure HSE & Statutory compliance of the asset
* Carry out site inspections
* Populating contractual reports
* Monitor O&M’s and Service Provider’s performance and contractual obligations
* Look for technical improvement solutions and propose them to the clients
* When needed, assist financial teams on asset budget calculation & cost tracking
* Responsible for general administration of each project
* When needed, attend industry events and workshops,
* Support content creation to showcase activities on social media platforms or commercial offers (cases studiers)
Sales team support
* Supporting on crafting of our BESS Asset Management offers,
* Attending customer introduction meeting and helping in presenting scope of work to customers,
* Giving the necessary training to the sales teams to introduce the Asset Management scope of work and the added value of services.
* Supporting in expanding our range of expertise in BESS
Travel
The post will involve eventual travel to sites in UK and also abroad.
Other technologies
The post will involve taking care progressively of similar tasks on the Solar or Wind assets
