Candidate Profile and Requirements
* Essential Qualification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a foundational requirement.
* Relevant Background: Proven, extensive teaching experience with students presenting various Special Educational Needs within a UK educational environment.
* Knowledge Base: A thorough and up:to:date understanding of SEN codes of practice, different intervention methods, and advanced differentiation techniques.
* Personal Skills: Must be highly patient, resourceful, flexible, and proactive, and demonstrate outstanding capabilities in managing the classroom.
* Compliance: You must possess a current, clear Enhanced DBS check, or be prepared for one without delay upon securing the role.
* Significant Advantage: A specialist SEN qualification (such as NASENCO) or extensive experience working with pupils with the most complex learning needs is highly valued.
