Opportunity available for a Paramedic to work within an Urgent Care Centre across the West Midlands.
The role involves delivering evidence-based nursing services as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing care within your scope of practice to the patient population. You will work autonomously, with support from a Nurse Prescriber who will oversee clinical areas such as health promotion, chronic disease management, health prevention, and well-man clinics. Additionally, you will assist in reviewing clinical policies and procedures.
You will develop, implement, and evaluate health promotion and wellbeing programs, create treatment plans for acute and non-acute conditions, and support patients at risk of developing long-term conditions. Providing routine nursing care according to clinical evidence, NICE guidelines, and NSF standards is essential. You must be able to prescribe medication within your scope of practice and review medication effectiveness.
Requirements:
* Must have at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
Working hours: Part and Full Time options available.
Hourly rates:
* Monday to Friday: £23 per hour
* Saturday/Sunday: £26 per hour
* Nights: £29 per hour
