Job Description: Protocol Education are working with a secondary school in Nottingham who are lookiing to appoint an English Teacher and contribute to their nurturing and supportive environment where every staff member plays a vital role in our students' experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Teach allocated classes, ensuring learning opportunities for all students
2. Plan and execute engaging lessons to maintain student interest and challenge them appropriately
3. Monitor student progress and intervene with strategies for improvement as needed
4. Assess and report on student progress and attainment
Required Qualifications:
5. PGCE
6. QTS
7. Bachelor's degree in English or related field
Experience:
8. Previous experience teaching English in a secondary school
Knowledge and Skills:
9. Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities
10. Ability to foster creativity and engagement in the classroom
Preferred Qualifications:
11. Additional certifications in Special Education or EAL
Working Conditions: This role entails working full-time within a secondary school environment, participating in staff meetings and other school-related activities as required.
