Maternity cover – up to 1 year contract

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Humanities Teacher to join our thriving Humanities department. We warmly welcome applications from ECTs.

The successful applicant will be passionate about teaching and committed to supporting students in achieving their very best across Key Stages 3-5. Teacher duties will include delivering high‑quality lessons, maintaining high standards and engagement, and fostering excellent outcomes for all learners while providing wider curriculum opportunities to support holistic education.

Responsibilities

• Teach humanities subjects across Key Stages 3-5.
• Plan and deliver engaging, high‑standard lessons.
• Support students to achieve their best learning outcomes.
• Use evidence‑based practice and innovative technology to enhance learning.
• Contribute to the wider curriculum, including arts and creativity.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified to teach at KS3-5 (MPS/UPS suitable).
• Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons.
• Experience with evidence‑based teaching practices.
• Strong commitment to student welfare and inclusion.
