events, activities, and creative arts programming.

Role Description

The Events Coordinator plays a central role in the day-to-day running of our venue and events programme. From first enquiry to day-of coordination, you will help ensure every event runs smoothly and every client feels supported.

This is a hands-on role combining administration, customer service and live event delivery. The Events Coordinator will work across multiple projects, liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, and will be required to manage competing priorities simultaneously.

Key Information

Salary:

National Living Wage - £12.71 per hour

Hours:

24 Hours per week, part time role with potential to extend to full time.

Location:

Altrincham Town Hall, 25 Market Street, WA14 1PF

Working pattern:

Flexible, including some evenings and weekends
Reports to

: Events Manager

Qualifications

Essential:

* Excellent customer service skills, experience providing customer-focused service with success.
* Passion for the arts and community- focused projects.
* Strong administrative skills including use of Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent.
* Excellent communicator. Must deliver communications with a professional and warm approach - in person & via email/ telephone.
* Fast learner: must be able to easily pick up new systems, platforms and be eager to make improvements in processes.
* Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently and with a forward-thinking approach to problem solving.

Desirable:

* Experience managing multiple projects of varying scales simultaneously
* Experience managing social media networks
* Experience working in non-profit arts environment
* Experience working with project management systems such as, Docusign & Quickbooks
