We are looking for compassionate and proactive SEN Support Workers to support students with autism and complex needs in a specialist unit or mainstream school setting. You will provide one-to-one or small group support to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
 * Support students in the classroom and during activities.
 * Implement strategies outlined in EHCPs and behaviour plans.
 * Assist teachers in preparing resources and adapting lessons.
 * Encourage independence and life skills development.
 * Maintain records of student achievements and progress.
Person Specification
 * Experience working with children with SEND/autism.
 * Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
 * Ability to work as part of a team and follow guidance from teachers.
 * Confidence using basic IT for record keeping.
