Part Time Retail Assistant Manager – Acorns Children's Hospice
Join to apply for the Part Time Retail Assistant Manager role at Acorns Children’s Hospice. We’re looking for a Deputy Superstore Manager to help drive the retail success of our Erdington Superstore. Working alongside the Shop Manager, you’ll lead a team of volunteers to deliver an exceptional shopping experience, turning donated fashion, toys, furniture and more into vital funds for local children and families. You’ll work 15 hours per week, including some weekend working.
Responsibilities
* Support the Shop Manager to create an exciting shop floor experience that makes Acorns stand out from our competitors
* Make decisions about the quality of stock, levels of pricing and style of merchandising
* Lead a team of volunteers
* Achieve sales targets by encouraging donations, purchases and gift aid
Qualifications
* Retail experience and experience of working towards targets
* Ability to lead and motivate a team
* IT skills
* Happy to work weekends
* Enjoy a role that involves significant levels of manual handling
