THE ROLE:
As the SEO Manager, you will:
* Develop and implement SEO strategies that boost organic search performance, focusing on cards and loans propositions.
* Conduct keyword research (including long-tail and high-volume terms) to shape content and landing page strategy.
* Manage site architecture, optimise sitemaps, and ensure strong crawlability and indexation.
* Analyse performance using GA, Search Console, and SEM tools—improving rankings, traffic, and CPA.
* Build a robust backlink strategy, earning links from high-authority domains.
* Work cross-functionally with content, design, and tech teams to embed SEO best practices.
* Stay ahead of search algorithm updates, industry trends, and compliance requirements.
* Support paid search insights and integrate learnings to drive broader digital performance.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience in SEO, ideally within financial services or another regulated sector.
* Strong technical SEO capabilities, including site audits, metadata optimisation, and mobile/page speed improvements.
* Solid Python skills for automation or data analysis.
* Proficiency in tools like SEMrush, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Search Console.
* Demonstrated success in managing large-scale SEO campaigns with measurable business outcomes.
* A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
* A passion for financial inclusivity and using SEO to help grow a purpose-driven brand.
