We are recruiting Support Workers to provide person centred care within a highly complex, 24/7 support package for a young man with an Ac quired Brain Injury (ABI) .
The individual is highly active, and walking is a key part of his regulation. Support Workers should expect to spend extended periods in the community and support a high level of daily activity. Daytime support is delivered on a 3:1 basis, reflecting the complexity of the package and the need for consistent, skilled support.
The individual may present with behaviours that challenge, including the potential for property damage when distressed. Staff must be confident working within agreed care and Positive Behaviour Support plans, recognising early indicators of escalation and responding proportionately.

A bit about him

He wants support workers who will engage with him, take him seriously, and support his goals not just observe from the side lines.
At times, He can become frustrated or overwhelmed, which may lead to challenging behaviour. Its important you have experience with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and can remain calm, consistent, and respectful under pressure .
