THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION INTENDED FOR A RECENT SCHOOL OR COLLEGE LEAVER LOOKING TO START IN THE WORLD OF WORK. \n \n\uD83D\uDD36Have you recently left school? \n \n\uD83D\uDD36Are you interested in starting a career in Administration? \n \n\uD83D\uDD36Do you want to earn money while you learn on the job and work towards a Level 6 Business and Administration SVQ? \n\nAn established, reputable legal and property firm have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to work as part of their highly regarded Private Client Department in Edinburgh. The Firm is known for dealing with high net-worth individuals, families and estates across Scotland and they are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated school leaver to join their team.\n\nPlease note that this is a 14 month initial contract but there may be an opportunity for a more permanent role for the right candidate.\n\nThe role will include direct involvement with all Private Client fee earners and other departments/offices. You will work closely with the existing Private Client PA team to provide consistent, high level administrative assistance to a busy and friendly team. You will be a part of the wider PA Services team for support and guidance.\n\nThe role will suit a forward thinker, who uses their initiative to anticipate the needs of the department as well as being able to react quickly and effectively. With particular focus on client service, finance and department projects, you will quickly become a vital part of the team and have a flexible approach to help other departments if required.\n\n\nThe role will involve dealing with all duties in line with the firmâs processes and procedures such as:\n\uD83D\uDD37General administrative duties including the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, photocopying, scanning, printing, binding, filing and archiving documents\n\uD83D\uDD37Production of bulk documents bundles using PDFDocs; \n\uD83D\uDD37Assisting in creating finance reports, billing guides and cash room entries \n\uD83D\uDD37Support of Central Records processes, including requesting offsite documents, sending documents back to storage and distributing incoming documents to fee earners\n\uD83D\uDD37Maintenance of client portals including uploading documents \n\nAs an Administrator, you will be expected to:\n\uD83D\uDD37Use all relevant IT packages including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Aderant keeping your knowledge up to date by attending regular training as required\n\uD83D\uDD37Produce all work to an exceptional standard, with minimal error and within given timescales\n\uD83D\uDD37Carry out a significant workload and tasks as instructed with minimal supervision\n\uD83D\uDD37Develop your client relationship and client care skills\n\uD83D\uDD37Take responsibility for department administration, projects, and help to organise department events\n \uD83D\uDD36Along with the duties in your role, you will undertake a Level 6 SVQ in Business and Administration and will be supported throughout.\n\n\uD83D\uDD36You will have the opportunity to work in a busy, collaborative office environment with a wide range of professionals.\n\n\uD83D\uDD36You will learn how to communicate with team members and clients to provide a high level of customer service. \uD83D\uDD37A well-organised, methodical and pro-active approach to work and an ability to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines\n\uD83D\uDD37Excellent IT skills including technical proficiency in Microsoft products\n\uD83D\uDD37Minimum of 3 National 5 qualifications including English required\n\uD83D\uDD37Good communication and interpersonal skills\n\uD83D\uDD37Accuracy in all aspects of your work ensuring all is to a high standard\n\uD83D\uDD37An enthusiastic, positive and professional individual with a âcan doâ attitude\n\uD83D\uDD37Commitment, flexibility and a willingness to assist other teams; learn new skills and share existing skills with colleagues\n\nOur client is an equal opportunities employer.
