Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team in Oxfordshire, supporting the daily activities of young children in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about early childhood development and childcare, with full training provided for those with no prior experience. The successful candidate will have the chance to develop their skills in childcare while making a positive impact on young lives.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with organising and supervising activities suitable for children’s developmental stages, promoting learning and social skills through play, storytelling, and educational activities
Support children with their daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and playtime, ensuring a clean and organised nursery environment
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times, being organised, responsible, and attentive to detail in caring for their needs
Engage with children through play and educational activities to promote learning and social skills, with a basic understanding of early childhood education principles being advantageous
Required Skills & Experience
Experience with children or childcare is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided to support personal and professional development
Organised, responsible, and attentive to detail in caring for children’s needs, with a passion for early childhood development and education
Basic understanding of early childhood education principles is advantageous, with a willingness to learn and grow within our organisation
