As a PMLD Learning Support Assistant, You Will:
1. Provide individualized support to students with PMLD, both one-on-one and in small groups, to help foster their independence and personal growth.
2. Work closely with teachers and other professionals to create and implement tailored education plans (IEPs) that meet the specific needs of each student.
3. Assist with personal care tasks such as feeding, mobility, and hygiene, ensuring that students feel safe, comfortable, and dignified.
4. Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement, confidence, and progress.
5. Collaborate with the SEN team to monitor and adapt teaching strategies to best support each student's learning journey.
6. Utilize specialized equipment to ensure accessibility and enhance the students' learning experience.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals to provide holistic support for students.
