RestoPros of Plymouth-Barnstable is a fast-growing water, mold, smoke, and odor damage mitigation and reconstruction company serving residential and commercial properties throughout the Cape Cod region. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Reconstruction Project Manager to join our team. If you're experienced in residential/light commercial construction, know how to manage timelines and subs, and are skilled at dealing with homeowners and insurance adjusters, this is your opportunity to lead projects that truly matter.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight & Execution
* Manage all phases of reconstruction from initial scope to final walk-through.
* Schedule subcontractors, inspections, and project milestones.
* Use Restoration Manager software to document job progress and maintain timelines.
* Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to scope, code, and standards.
Customer & Insurance Communication
* Serve as the main point of contact for clients and adjusters.
* Provide regular email updates (minimum twice weekly), even when no major progress is made.
* Conduct on-site meetings with homeowners and adjusters as needed.
* Coordinate mortgage paperwork when checks require lienholder signoff.
Estimating & Budgeting
* Conduct Matterport scans for every reconstruction job.
* Build estimates in Xactimate or a franchisor-approved estimating platform.
* Negotiate with insurance adjusters to ensure fair settlement.
* Create a draw schedule, job budget, and Gantt chart for each project.
Subcontractor Management
* Assign all work orders and perform pre-construction meetings with trades.
* Monitor subcontractor work and collect daily jobsite photos when not on-site.
* Review invoices and ensure cost tracking is maintained in Restoration Manager.
Quality Control
* Conduct regular quality inspections and document deficiencies.
* Resolve issues quickly to avoid delays and maintain client satisfaction.
* Ensure every job meets company standards and industry best practices.
Reporting & Documentation
* Maintain thorough digital job files, including budgets, communication, and change orders.
* Process supplements and justify added scope as needed.
* Provide end-of-job reporting for client, insurance, and mortgage purposes.
Qualifications:
* 3+ years in residential/light commercial construction management or project management.
* Familiarity with Xactimate or Symbility.
* Experience working with insurance adjusters preferred.
* Tech-savvy — able to learn and use job management software and Matterport.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Compensation:
* Base salary based on experience.
* Bonus Structure based on Gross Profit Margin (paid monthly):
* 40–44.99% GP: 2.5% bonus
* 45–49.99% GP: 5% bonus
* 50–54.99% GP: 7.5% bonus
* 55–59.99% GP: 10% bonus
* 60%+ GP: 12.5% bonus
* Company-provided tablet or laptop.
* Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle depending on experience.
* Paid time off and potential for additional benefits as the company grows.
