Key Account Manager – Returnable Transit Packaging
We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Key Account Manager to join our Returnable Transit Packaging team. This role is pivotal in managing and growing strategic customer relationships, delivering tailored packaging solutions, and driving sustainable business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Returnable Transit Packaging, excellent commercial acumen, and a passion for innovation and sustainability. They will manage and grow a portfolio of high-value key accounts across various sectors including food, beverage, personal care, industrial, and pharma.
* Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer needs and company objectives.
* Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
* Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, production, quality, logistics) to deliver customized packaging solutions.
* Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, contracts, and service agreements.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to identify new opportunities.
* Drive sustainability initiatives by advising clients on recyclable, biodegradable, and lightweight packaging options.
* Coordinate packaging trials, product launches, and technical support with cross-functional teams.
* Track and report on account performance, sales forecasts, and KPIs using CRM tools.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience working in the Returnable Transit Packaging is essential.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams and cultures.
* Flexibility to travel across the UK (Ideally in the North and Midlands).
