The business operates flexibly and requires 2 days a week in the office with up to 3 days a week working from home.They will look at a broad range of candidates from newly qualified accountants making their first move into industry to people at a more senior level looking to progress their career in a growing organisation.
Job Description
3. Manage and oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
5. Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
6. Support external audit processes and liaise with auditors.
7. Develop and enhance financial reporting systems and tools.
8. Provide guidance and support to the accounting team.
9. Prepare budgets and forecasts to aid strategic decision-making.
10. Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Financial Reporting Manager should have:
11. Qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
12. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and practices.
13. A professional qualification in accounting or finance.
14. Proficiency in financial software and systems.
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
