Children's support Worker - Mental Health - Emotional and challengning behaviours Your new company I am recruiting for experienced Children’s Support Workers to work within a residential setting based in Aldershot. You should be passionate for children`s and young people`s well-being and have a caring and patient nature. Shifts available are long days, sleeps, early and lates. There is also optional overtime which is paid at an additional rate Your new role As a Support Worker, you will be supporting children and young people who may have a Complex Needs diagnosis such as EBD, ADHD, Autistic spectrum disorder, conduct disorder and challenging behaviour. You will support young people by focusing on their education, behaviour and physical and mental well-being in order to achieve a positive outcome. You must be willing to go above and beyond for the young people and to enrich their lives through positive behaviours. You will also be required to use computer equipment and to write and complete a thorough handover providing information to the manager in a positive, structured, and professional manner. What you\'ll need to succeed You must have a minimum of 6 months recent experience within a similar role Have a caring, cheerful and positive personality with a genuine care to support others A Full UK Driving Licence is essential Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care, Children or Young people or similar is advantageous Must have full UK right to work - no sponsorship What you\'ll get in return Excellent Competitive Pay.
