We are seeking three full-time, permanent Pupil Support Leaders to join our busy Pupil Support team at Queensferry High School.
Pupil Support Leaders will be part of the Management and Leadership team of Queensferry Community High School, working to ensure high-quality pupil support aimed at maximizing attainment and support for all students. They will serve as Pupil Support Leaders with a specific remit to jointly manage the Pupil Support Department alongside other Pupil Support Leaders. Each successful candidate will be responsible for a year group caseload, working with our S1, S2, S3, and S5 cohorts.
This is a six-year comprehensive school located in the North West Locality of the City of Edinburgh Council. The catchment area includes Queensferry, Dalmeny, Echline, Kirkliston Primary Schools, and St Margaret's RC Primary School by request. Our new school building offers excellent resources and views of the Forth Estuary, including the three bridges. The school roll exceeds 1,200 and is increasing.

Salaries will follow the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
This role involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check. If the candidate has spent three or more months outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
